One word: OMG !

Er, or can you say ‘Poor-me-itis’ to da extreme baaaaaaby !

While we here at Risky.TV could go on a deep eye-rolling rant about just what we feel the social programming is that causes the gal in the above video to feel SHE is special, or entitled to not follow the rules (therefore suffer the consequences)… eh… sadly we won’t.

We shall, instead, just applaud Alamo Drafthouse for their boldness and courage to point out why, yes Dear Virginia, sometimes you as a “customer” do have to be put second.

Or, as Alamo puts it:

“We do not tolerate people that talk or text in the theater. In fact, before every film we have several warnings on screen to prevent such happenings. Occasionally, someone doesn’t follow the rules, and we do, in fact, kick their asses out of our theater. This video is an actual voicemail from a woman that was kicked out of one of our Austin theaters. Thanks, anonymous woman, for being awesome.”

“This absolutely isn’t a productive use of time, but it’s hilarious fare worth consuming before the next bullet. Alamo Drafthouse theaters (@alamodrafthouse) are probably my favorites in the country. The food, booze, and experience are fantastic. This is partly due to a simple rule: Do not fucking talk or use your phone, or we’ll kick your ass out. The above video is a consequence of that rule, and be sure to watch past the first 30 seconds or so.”
