Lynne Forrest defines the three roles on the victim triangle (also called the Drama Triangle, originated from Dr. Stephen Karpman in the 1970’s) and describes how each person has a particular ‘starting gate position’ in one of these roles, that is determined by their dominating viewpoint (or core belief) of themselves and the world.
