The Most Unusual Solar Eclipse In U.S. History

It’s been referred to as “the Super Bowl of the sky” —  the total solar eclipse on August 21 that will allow people across the continental United States to witness a rare and spectacular celestial event.

Martha Teichner meets with retired NASA astrophysicist Fred Espenak (known as “Mr. Eclipse”) and with other “umbraphiles” whose love of eclipses outshines all else.

THE KEY TO ALL OF LIFE’S MYSTERIES:

“The Super Bowl of the Sky.”

That’s what some people are calling this Monday’s coming Solar Eclipse.

Sure enough, I can see why.

We put a fun little educational video about this above.

But, the core message for me and my wife and best friend, Chiara, is to use this time — starting today into Monday and the rest of the week – to align ourselves with this level of energy.

You see, it’s been over 98 years since “totality” crossed the nation from the Pacific to the Atlantic (video above explains).

This is when the three key cosmic forces of our observable universe (the Sun, Moon and Earth) are in complete alignment.

Basically, you can liken this coming Monday’s event as our planet’s “reset” button…

Electromagnetic energy that goes “poof!” for a short while and brings about refreshed change and possibility.

I’ve always been a student of esoteric stuff – the paranormal, metaphysics, energy work, etc. — and, to me, this current reality we’re in is a great time to align with the this hermetic saying:

<< “As Above, So Below; As Within, So Without.” >>

If your the intellectually-curious sort, you may also find that that has always been believed to be the key to all of life’s mysteries.

It’s the phrase that comes from the beginning of The Emerald Tablet and embraces the entire system of traditional and modern magic which was inscribed upon the tablet in cryptic wording by Hermes Trismegistus.

But from an intuitive, more feeling-based perspective, I’m confident you, like most, can “sense” that what is ABOVE (the cosmos) is affecting us all the time.

And when something as grand and infrequent as a TOTAL solar eclipse occurs, you’re likely to feel it on many deeper levels.

So, this is nothing more than a gentle reminder to take some time to stop and smell the roses.

Have a great rest of your weekend and talk soon,
